Miles Overn has been shooting for decades, getting his start at professional hockey games and concerts
in his then hometown of Edmonton. Having a darkroom in his basement, he was enthralled with not only
capturing images, but how they could be enhanced to highlight whatever was most desired in the shot.
From international mega-stars like U2 and Rihanna, to local musicians like Ari Neufeld and Nikita Afonso,
Overn has photographed artists and bands in venues from Hollywood, CA to Seattle, WA, Vanocuver, BC, Edmonton, AB
and countless other cities and towns. His shots have been used on web sites and in CD booklets by a variety of
musicians and are all over facebook and other places people go to follow the entertainment industry.
Recognized and sought out for his unique style and his ability to capture the essence of an artist, Overn
has serious street cred amongst many in the music industry.
Miles Overn has also had the opportunity to do fashion and boudoir sessions, event photography, and weddings. Each
type of shoot demands a different approach and affords its own interesting set of opportunities. Working with models,
