with Covid still active and new restrictions in place, we are choosing to do mini "photo reviews" for as many shows as we can this year

restrictions limit us to grabbing a few shots during the first 2 or 3 songs and then we need to be on our way

Ari

Ari Neufeld is great to listen to. He's even better to watch perform. The man activates every cell in his body and every ounce of his soul to deliver all that he writes into his own songs or unearths from other artists that he covers.

After dealing with a couple early technical glitches, this was the Ari Neufeld that appeared at Barn Owl Brewing on what was an exceptional warm and sunny Okanagan spring evening. Bright sun shineing, Ari wearing shades, and the gathered patrons protected by huge tents on the patios facing the portico under which Ari played.

Ari is a masterful songwriter and story teller. As such, he perfectly set up songs as he spoke about their genesis before launching into his passion filled and vision fueled rebirths of his artistic creations, in the moment in front of friends and strangers as if it was what anybody would do. Few every express themselves so completely even once on a single song as Ari does throughout his entire set every time he performs. This gig demonstrated yet again why he is as loved and appreciated by as many fans and fellow artists as he is. Thank you, Ari, for a great set.
