The Passion & Warfare 25th Anniversary Tour has Vai crossing North America in celebration of his 2nd studio album that was recorded back in 1990. the album was certified gold and featured some incredible musicians including David Rosenthal on keys, Chris Farzier and Tris Imboden on drums, Stu Hamm on bass and many other great players. The ablum was mastered by the legendary Bernie Grundman.
The album was based on a series of dreams that Vai had in past years and solidified Vai as not just a guitar god, but also an exceptional composer. Truly revered by guitar players from all styles and genres, Vai is in a category of his own. Guitarists were treated to a very interesting series of articles by him in Guitar Player Magazine that provided both insights into the mind of a visionary as well as tremendous inspiration for both players and writers.
