Pat MacGibbon
Pat graduated from Toronto's Humber College in 2005 with a Diploma in Jazz Studies with honours, where he studied with Pat Labarbera, Don Thompson, Mike Murley and even had occasional private lessons with Branford Marsalis.Drawing influence from musicians such as Branford Marsalis, Michael Brecker, Kirk Whalum, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane and Charlie Parker, Pat is comfortable playing both traditional styles as well as modern jazz, blues and pop. He has performed along side Carol Welsman, Sunny Wilkinson, Trish Colter, D.J. Fontana, Greg Yasinitsky, Horace Alexander Young and the Michael Garding Big Band.
