The Legendary Lake Monsters

The Legendary Lake Monsters are a Canadian dance band from Vernon, BC.

The band features, and is driven by, a 5 piece horn section that is complimented by a tight rhythm section that provide a solid platform for its 2 lead vocalists. This lineup allows them to play songs from a variety of styles including R&B, soul, pop, rock, and all the way down to salsa and swing.

Artists whose songs are part of the LLM repertoire include Amy Winehouse, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Santana, Etta James, Tower of Power, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Meghan Trainor and so many others.

They have played a number of high profile charitable events such as the Rotary Dream Auction, Kindale Diamond Premiere, Cotton's Chocolate Valentine's for Mexico, Dancing with Vernon and Shuswap Stars. Additonally they do themed parties which in the past have included Bond 007 themed New Years night in 2015, a popular 2017 sizzling Mardi Gras New Years, and a classy Rat Pack Las Vegas 2018 NYE tribute.

Such is the musical pedigree of LLM that members of the band have shared the stage with internationally known artists such as: Colin James, Mike Reno (Loverboy), Jo Burt (formerly of Black Sabbath), Dzal Martin (The Equals), Jack Lovin (Powder Blues), Russell Jackson (The BB King Band), Alfie Zappacosta, Paul Laine, and Sonny Rhodes (Sonny Rhodes Blues Band).
