Shawn was brought up in Kelowna, and has lived here for almost all of his 46 years. He has seen it change and grow from a small town to a thriving desireable City. Shawn carries an intimate knowledge of the Kelowna Area and the Real Estate Market ~ where it came from, the pros and cons of all the areas, and where it is going. He was brought up in an award winning Real Estate Family, with his Mother Olivia being awarded as the #1 Realtor in the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board for 22 years ... Real Estate is in his blood!

Shawn went to UBC and got a BSc Honors in Physiology, spent a year at Bible college in Saskatchewan, but was drawn back to Kelowna as home. Shawn worked informally with his mother while going to University, and was mentored and a partner with her in the late 1980’s, working on a wide range of Real Estate, from “Carpenter Specials”, to “Gentleman’s Estate”, Apartment blocks, Commercial, Acreages, and Mobiles .... a real learning experience and hand’s on training with one of the best!

In 1990 his mother had a serious stroke, and Shawn carried on with the family business, and earned his own stripes as an award winner over the next number of years, carrying on the family tradition of Excellence, and First class Service! Shawn was asked on staff at a local church and spent 10 years working with families, before deciding it was time to come back to the family business. In 2005, Shawn started from scratch again, but in only a few years, rose to the top of his profession in the number one company in Kelowna.
