Leo Ilomin Jr aka “Junior” or “Junior Magictone” has played professionally since 16yrs old. While he primarily plays keyboards, which he started on at 6 yrs old, he also plays guitar & bass

Ilomin came up in the Vancouver scene through the late 80’s to 2000, and moved to Kelowna in 2004. His primary musical influences come from playing blues, latin an R&B. He learned the basics of jazz in highschool, and Funk & Soul music are big influences on his playing today.

Artists that are a big influence are Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, BB King, Gerge Benson James Brown, Tower Of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, Average White Band, Michael Jackson, Buena Vista Social Club to name a few.

Leo has played with many Okanagan acts over the years including Pappa Dawg & Cathy Ann Wells, currently playing with The Legendary Lake Monsters & an early Pink Floyd project called “Floydian Trip”
