Jason A. Bermiller hosts the longest running Progressive Music show in Canada, The ProgDog Radio Show on CFBX, 92.5 FM The X in Kamloops, BC, Canada. He teaches Communications courses, courses designed primarily for professional document creation, at the local
university in Kamloops.
During the 1980’s Jason started as a Disc Jockey in several clubs in the Toronto, Ontario area, the city of his birth. In his capacity as a radio host, Jason has interviewed many artists including Kerry Livgren of Kansas, Ian Anderson
of Jethro Tull, Roger Glover and Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree and King Crimson, John Wetton of Asia, Mariusz Duda of Riverside, and a host of other progressive and rock artists. Although his radio show focuses on Progressive Music,
Jason is a deep listener of many genres of music including all styles of Classical, all eras of Jazz, Fusion, Blues, Folk, Alternative, Rock, Metal and Country. Jason avidly attends concerts and collects music across the aforementioned genres to this day.
